DESCRIPCIÓN . DESCRIPTION
Today's technology has led us to a world of "instants". Instant noodles, instant coffee, instant messenger etc. It has all led us to a more seemingly "efficient" and "time-consuming" activities, such as foods that take 30 seconds to prepare or social events through an instantaneous connection. What about an "instant" that allows you to step away from your computer for a good break instead of moving you towards it, faster? What if there is a way to have an "instant escape"?
Nowadays, offices, especially urban ones, are devoid of any hint of nature, with only décor plastic plants and carpets as remnants of landscapes. Urban offices, with their office space planning and hardly any solitary private niche for escape, need to rethink what an office should be. How can one detach oneself from their peripheries, gadgets and technologies? How can we get back into nature?
Instant Nature is one way of attacking this problem. A construct that is collapsible for stow away when not in used and can be expanded to house events that can increase the efficiency of workers through relaxation and imagery. Instant Nature is an escape from one's office table that is a world of its own.
