CECILIA THAM nació en Hong Kong en 1975 y es arquitecta por la Universidad de Harvard, Graduate School of Design. Ha trabajado en varios despachos profesionales como Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects, Toshiko Mori Architect, Enric miralles - Benedetta Tagliabue Arquitectes and José Antonio Martínez Lapeña & Elías Torres Arquitectos. Ha colaborado como profesora para el Career Discovery Program 2002 en Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Ha recibido la beca de Arthur W. Wheelwright 2004-2005 para su propuesto de estudio The Roundabout Spectacle. Actualmente es profesora para Catholic University of America.
Cecilia Tham was born in 1975 in Hong Kong. She received her Master of Architecture degree in 2002 at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She has worked in various offices such as Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects, Toshiko Mori Architect, Enric miralles - Benedetta Tagliabue Arquitectes and José Antonio Martínez Lapeña & Elías Torres Arquitectos. She was studio professor for the Career Discovery Program 2002 at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She is the recipient for the 2004-2005 Arthur W. Wheelwright Traveling Fellowship for her proposal The Roundabout Spectacle: a study of the image of Barcelona from the ringroad. She is currently visiting professor at the Catholic University of America and University of Illinois, Chicago.
